Sapor is located in the North Loop neighborhood of downtown Minneapolis a few blocks from Target Field. Founded by Julie Steenerson and Tanya Siebenaler in 2000, the restaurant is known for its global cuisine, boutique wine list, craft beer and signature cocktails.
We draw our inspiration from cooks who use ingredients and spices that are native to their cultures so that we can bring something from their neighborhoods to our neighborhood here in the North Loop. Sapor is Latin for flavor. We look for indigenous flavors and ethnic cuisines found in villages and barrios around the world.
