Stylish simplicity (dark wood, white linens) graces this downtown space, located on Nicollet Mall across from Orchestra Hall. Beautiful people pack the place for dinner, often creating lags in service. But at lunchtime, the place is sunny and subdued.

With his name on the line, Chef Vincent Francoual is proud of what he prepares. Appetizers include a carpaccio of red beets with creamy goat cheese. Vincent’s superb way with fish includes a fennel seed-crusted salmon.
